Further Information:
Colin Park was a 20-year-old from Woolloonabba a suburb of Brisbane. He was a Christadelphian He applied for and was granted exemption from combatant military service during October 1965. After much thought and study during his first 11 days in military camp he decided to make an application for full exemption from all types of military service. The application was heard by Magistrate Rodgers in Sydney on 30 May 1966. The magistrate dismissed his application and ruled Colin must return to the army and resume non-combatant military duties. It is likely he was granted full exemption on appeal.
