This is the site of the Honour Roll of Australian Conscientious Objectors, Draft Resisters and Peacemakers from 1898 until the present. It is an initiative of the Australian Living Peace Museum (ALPM)· http://www.livingpeacemuseum.org.au It was an idea of Dr Geoff Sandy.
It honours all Australian men and women of conscience who opposed war and militarism by non-violent means, and worked for peace and reconciliation. The site is subject to continuous development with many names and personal stories yet to be added. Research for the personal entries was undertaken by Associate Professor Bobbie Oliver, The University of Western Australia and Dr. Associate Professor (former) , Geoff Sandy, Victoria University, Melbourne. Both are current members of the APLM Board.
