Further Information:

Roger Kelly was from Parkes in regional New South Wales. He opposed the National Service Act 1964 (NSA). He refused to register for national service for the January 1969 intake of conscripts. He also refused to attend the mandatory medical examination under the NSA. Eventually he was declared unfit for military service.
