Further Information:
Wayne Henderson of Western Australia failed to register for national service. On 9 August 1970 he was convicted and fined for that offence. He failed to pay the fine. On 15 April 1971 Magistrate TR McGuigian ordered seizure of goods from Wayne in lieu of the non-payment of the fine. Wayne then adopted the strategy of being on the run from the police and went underground on 18 January 1972. It is likely he was never prosecuted by the authorities up to the suspension of the NSA in December 1972.
