Personal Summary:  Roy Pike was a married man with 4 children.  He was a member of the Assemblies of God church in Ballarat, and he worked as fireman/stoker at the Ballarat Gas Company.  In 1942, he was twice convicted on the same charge (unstated – probably refusing to serve) and served a sentence of 14 days, and in December a further sentence of one month.
