John Moscrop was a Christadelphian. He was granted exemption from military service and ordered to undertake work with the Civil Construction Corps, which he accepted. But he “found it to be noncombatant work under a different name” so he refused to do it. He appealed. The appeal was heard on 29 July 1943 and struck out on 22 May 1944.
