Robb Wallace was a school teacher from Murrumbeena in Victoria.  He applied for full exemption from military duties, and this was granted by Magistrate Kelly 19 November 1970. His conscientious beliefs were grounded in humanist pacifism. He was a  member of the Humanist Society.
