Further Information:

Donald Gibson was a member of the Congregational Church.  He served on the NSW Conscientious Objectors’ Central Committee and was part of the Community House (a community of conscientious objectors and supporters in Surry Hills). Donald was exempted from military service because as a bank officer he was in a reserve occupation, as determined by Manpower.  He married in 1944.
